Unfortunately, no matter how much we love and care for our pets, our time with them is limited. The doctors and staff at All Pets Animal Hospital and Rehabilitation Center pride themselves on providing compassion and care to pets from the beginning and throughout their lives.
If an animal is sick, but not suffering, our veterinarians will often recommend hospice care. Hospice care treats symptoms of illness and provides pain management to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Patients in our hospice program are monitored for pain, along with their lab work values, to ensure they still have a quality of life.
When the pet reaches a point where they could begin to suffer, our kind doctors will be there for them as well and will treat both your beloved pet and you with empathy and dignity. A sedative is administered to keep your pet comfortable, and then medication is administered to allow them to cross the Rainbow Bridge peacefully.
Regardless of the current age or condition of your constant pet, All Pets Animal Hospital and Rehabilitation Center wants to be their caregivers for life.
