Veterinarian
Dr. Valeika brings some serious nerd energy to All Pets. His love of
science, hiking, and especially mushroom hunting have filled his brain with
all sorts of fun facts. Before starting to practice veterinary medicine in
2012, Dr. Valeika was an epidemiology professor where he studied infectious
disease transmission. He continues to be active in Public Health, sitting
on the board for the Buncombe County Department of Health and Human
Services. When he’s not practicing veterinary medicine or thinking about
infectious disease, Dr. Valeika loves hiking in the mountains, spending
time with his wife and two daughters, and memorizing rap lyrics. He has a
cattle dog mix named Penny, and a fierce cat named Boocat.
