About Our Animal Hospital

In December of 1993, Our Animal Hospital, All Pets, opened its doors with three staff members – Dr. Eddie Heath, a part-time veterinary technician, and a receptionist – dedicating itself to pets and people of Buncombe and Madison counties. Currently, our staff numbers 23, plus Drs.Heath, Grant, Gibaldi and Williamson. The steady growth of All Pets is a testament that quality medicine and service are important to the people of Western North Carolina.

We Understand the Human-Animal Bond At Our Animal Hospital

Dr. Heath created All Pets with the belief that pets, an integral part of the family unit, hold a special place in the hearts of their owners. Preserving the bond between owners and their pet(s) is a huge responsibility that we are honored to have, and strengthening these relationships plays a central role in our philosophy. To that end, we take pride in making sure you are thoroughly informed about your pet’s care and we take the time to offer careful explanation as well as printed brochures and handouts.

Our setting is a first-rate office environment, designed with nurturing and state-of-the-art care in mind. Generous use of indoor plants and three zones of ventilation ensure virus and odor control and contribute to the feeling of a friendly, healing atmosphere.

More important than our Animal Hospital facility is our staff. These carefully-selected, highly-trained caregivers share the common vision of providing high-quality medicine, surgery and service that exceeds expectations.

What our clients say…

“I have been involved with owning, breeding, showing and judging dogs for more than 30 years, and I’ve been a client of All Pets since moving to North Carolina in 1996. The care my dogs have received is outstanding in every way. Services range from routine health checks, annual vaccinations and dental procedures to challenging diagnostics, emergency treatments and end-of-life care. The staff have always provided supportive, professional, high-quality service.”

"I came to All Pets Animal Hospital in 2005 with a sick cat, and wound up moving all six of my pets to the clinic for their health care needs. My animals range in age from 6-17 yrs.  All but one are dealing with long term health issues. I value the compassionate care the health care team at All Pets provides. There is a balance of professionalism coupled with a personal touch.  The team work among the vets is outstanding. Often, a health issue for one animial receives the attention of all four vets. The pet owner is always considered to be a vital member of the animal's health care team and owners receive extensive information about the care of their animal. The technicians are kind hearted, well trained, and compassionate, with not only the animals under their care, but with their human counterparts as well. The office staff are pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Regardless of the situation that brings one to All Pets, you know quickly that your animal is in capable, compasionate and caring hands."

“Words cannot express the appreciation we feel from the care the staff at All Pets has given our animals for over 10 years. We feel they are part of our extended family and completely trust their decision-making process. Their professionalism and attention to detail spans from the front office staff to the doctors, technical staff, all the way to the kennel staff. Thank you so much for being there for us and our animals from the early life stage to the geriatric stage.”
