Our staff, from front office to doctor to kennel staff, shares the common goal of providing compassionate, high-quality medical care that is the very best we have to offer. Kind souls, a wealth of experience, and the love of pets is at the heart of our exceptional crew.

Veterinarians

Dr Eddit HeathDr Eddie Heath graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He received two Bachelor Degrees while playing football for the fighting Texas Aggies. His undergraduate degrees are in Biomedical Science and Veterinary Science. He has spent the last 20-plus years practicing veterinary medicine. Dr. Heath worked with four different veterinary practices as an associate until he opened All Pets in 1993. Through this invaluable experience, he was able to encounter different philosophies and gain insights at each hospital. He took the best ideas from each and applied them to All Pets. When time permits he enjoys many outdoor sports, Anusara yoga, gardening and landscaping at his farm in Weaverville. Dr. Heath shares his home with his son, Nathan, and daughter, Caity, as well as three dometic short hair cats – Beege, Snowshoe and Kona (all spayed and neutered) – and two dogs – Elsie, a spayed mixed-breed dog, and Betty Boop a spayed Boston Terrier.

Dr Casey FletcherDr. Casey Fletcher graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. In addition to her Veterinary Degree, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Zoology and an Associate's Degree in Business.

Casey and her family settled in Asheville in 1999 and they love it here. When she is not caring for the animals at All Pets, she is off pursuing her other passions which include: her family, gardening, camping, singing and simply living. She shares her life with her husband, three children, two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, one chinchilla and some fish.

Dr Lyn BedsaulDr. Lyn Bedsaul grew up just over the hills in Johnson City, TN. She spent eight years in Knoxville, TN, attending the University of Tennessee and becoming a Volunteer football fan. Her degrees include a B.S. in Agriculture/Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she and her husband moved to Northern California, where she practiced small animal and exotic medicine for over three years. She is now happy to be back in the beautiful Southern Appalachians and thrilled to be working at All Pets Animal Hospital. She and her husband have two children, Paige and Claire, two mixed-breed dogs and two cats.


Dr Ginny GrantDr. Ginny Grant was raised in Hendersonville, NC. She graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dr. Grant enjoys working with exotic species as well as cats and dogs. In her spare time she practices yoga, walks and enjoys Asheville's abundant music and arts. She shares her home with 2 cats, Woody and Larou.

 

Veterinary Technicians and Assistants

Laura WellsLaura Wells works as veterinary assistant and is the Head Technician for the technical staff. She has been with All Pets since January 1996. She hold a B. S. degree in Biology from Virginia Poly-Technical Institute in Blacksburg, VA. She shares her home with 2 dogs, Toby and Skyla, and 2 cats, Max and Daphne, both spayed and neutered. Laura enjoys spending time in nature hiking and gardening.

Shannon Christie-WickhamShannon Christie-Wickham works as a registered veterinary technician who has been a staff member since 1998. She was born in Charlotte, NC and received an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC. She worked in the Surgery-Anesthesia department at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine for five years before joining the All Pets team. Shannon shares her home with her husband Steve, her daughter Sarah and multiple cats and dogs all of whom are spayed and neutered.

Joyce EdmondsonJoyce Edmondson works as a veterinary assistant and has been a part of the All Pets team since 2001. She worked as a groomer for nine years prior to working as a veterinary assistant. Joyce is a native of Candler, NC. She also shares her home with five cats, two Golden Retrievers, Laredo and Justin, and a Bull Mastiff, Beasley. Joyce enjoys working out at the gym, hiking and horseback riding. She is married and has one son.

Megan MayMegan May works as a registered veterinary technician and joined the All Pets team in 2003. She received her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Gaston Community College in Gastonia, NC May 2003. She works as a receptionist and a technician. She and her husband Scott live in Weaverville with their 5 dogs, 3 cats and 1 rabbit. In addition to enjoying her veterinary career Meg also enjoys pottery, gardening, knitting and riding motorcycles.

Donna TullyDonna Tully works as a registered technician and receptionist and has been a part of the All Pets staff since 2004. She is a native of Saint Augustine, FL. She holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology and Outdoor Education from Appalachian State University and completed an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College in 1997. She shares her home with 4 tuxedo cats – August, Iris, Django and Maxfield – and two dogs – Junebug, a Border Collie mix, and Pearl, an English Shepherd. In her spare time she enjoys riding her Irish Sport Horse, Miss O'Reilly; participating in natural horsemanship training; practicing Anusara Yoga; hiking; camping; and kayaking.

Ashley GrayAshley Gray works as a veterinary assistant and has been with All Pets since 2004. She is a native of Norfolk, VA and has lived in Western NC since 1999. She holds a degree in Fish and Wildlife Management and is pursuing a degree in Surgical Assisting from A-B Tech. She has two dogs, Nick, a mixed breed, and Duke, a Dalmatian, and two cats, Bullet and Gumby, all of whom are neutered rescues.

Tammy GreggTammy Gregg works as a registered veterinary technician and has been a part of the All Pets staff since June of 2006. She completed the veterinary medical technology program at AB Tech in August 2006 and is waiting to take her board examination to become a registered technician. Tammy shares her home with her husband, Brian, and her son, Zachery. Tammy has three dogs (a German Shepherd, Max, a shepherd mix, Misty, and a Belgian Shepherd, Tommy), a domestic longhaired cat (Smokey) and several parrots. Tammy is involved in her church and also enjoys many crafts including quilting, stained glass making and mixed media painting.

Parisa AzamghavaniParisa Azamghavani works as a veterinary assistant and has been an All Pets team member since 2006. She is a native of Weaverville, NC. She is currently completing her pre-requisites for veterinary school at A-B Tech. In her leisure time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, yoga and spending time with her Yorkshire Terrier, Otis, and her Labrador mix, Buster. Both pets are neutered.

 

Kennel and Grooming Staff

Lindsey PetersonLindsey Peterson is currently the Kennel Manager and has been at All Pets since the fall of 2000. She is a native of Columbia, SC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a B. A. degree in Art. She is now pursuing a Master's degree in English at Western North Carolina University. Lindsey is proud to be the only All Pets staff member to still only own one pet, her mixed breed dog, Jack.

Joyce HaunJoyce Haun has been a member of the All Pets Kennel staff since 2002. She is passionate about working with and caring for the pets while they are here boarding. She has a special talent for easing the nerves of animals that are aggressive and afraid. She also shares her home with two dogs – Cookie, a Chihuahua, and Buster, a Boxer – and 2 cats, Possum and Zing Zing. Joyce has two daughters, Brittany and Deana, and a son, Mickey. She enjoys walking and spending time with her children.

Danielle BabbittDanielle Babbitt has been a member of the All Pets staff since 2006. She plans to begin her pre-requisites for veterinary school this spring. She is the proud owner of one sheep dog mix named Leah, two horses, Nelyana and Dancer, and one cat, Crackerjack. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, helping her mother with rescue horses, and drag racing in South Carolina. Her life goal is to start an animal rescue center.

Heather SeagerHeather Seager moved back to Asheville in 2005 after four years in upstate South Carolina. Originally from Pennsylvania, she received her bachelors degree from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. Heather has been grooming for two years. She previously worked with animals at a no-kill shelter in South Carolina and at a boarding kennel. She has competed her 7 year-old Great Dane, Bacchus, in AKC and UKC Obedience and Rally, earning five titles and the Canine Good Citizen award. Heather also enjoys hiking and reading, and she’s a member of Asheville Kennel Club.

 

Front Office Staff

Claudia PetersonClaudia Peterson has been Office Manager at All Pets since 1997 and is occasionally called in to assist with veterinary procedures. She is a native of Germany, but has lived in the U.S. for more than 20 years. She enjoys hiking, rafting and other outdoor activities with her family. She is married and has three daughters. Her pets include her mix breed dog, Ben, and an Australian Terrier named Hurley; and 3 cats named Sam, Cleo and Mittens; and all spayed and neutered.

Frieda PopeFrieda Pope works as a receptionist and has been a staff member since March 2000. She and her husband, John, have two children in college and five furry children, which include three spayed dachshunds, Rags, Shelly and Mandy, and two spayed female cats, Mew and Misty. Frieda enjoys many outdoor activities as well as being involved in her church.

Sherry HokeSherry Hoke works as a receptionist and has been on staff at All Pets since 2004. She lives in Asheville with her husband John and her two dogs, Littleman and Moe. She has spent the last 25 years caring for animals in several capacities. She worked as a veterinary assistant for 11 years and holds a certification as a Master Groomer. She also owned her own grooming business in Brevard for nine years. Sherry enjoys competing in grooming competitions with Littleman, her Standard Poodle. She also has a special affinity for decorating, and we are grateful for her talent in decorating All Pets for all the holidays throughout the year.

Kerbi JenningsKerbi Jennings is a member of the All Pets front office staff. She is a native of Asheville. She and her husband Dennis have two Doberman Pinschers, Zady and Gymyni. Kerbi enjoys hiking, camping and shopping.

Michelle PetersonMichelle Peterson has been a part of the All Pets team since 1996. She works in many capacites throughout the hospital. She works as a veterinary assistant and receptionist as well as in the kennel when needed. Michelle is currently pursuing a degree in Natural Resource Management at Western Carolina University. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her dog, Chaco, a mixed, spayed female.

Bonnie WilsonBonnie Wilson is the newest member of the All Pets staff. You can see her smiling face and gentle demeanor in the front office working as a receptionist. Bonnie moved here from Atlanta, GA where she spent 35 years working for Delta Airlines. She shares her home with her two dogs: Alice, a Rottweiler, and T-Bow, a Greater Swiss Mountain dog. They enjoy spending time in the mountains hiking.
